As planned, the ICVS Orientation took place on March 23rd, 2018 at 6:00 PM.

ICVS is the typical valuation certification for this part of the world since it focuses on the valuation of privately held companies that is the dominant kind of companies. These companies are demanding valuations for buyouts, mergers and acquisitions or different reasons. The demand for the ICVS is picking up among private equity firms, investment companies and investment banks, consulting companies, etc throughout the Middle East. For instance: (Beirut, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the UAE).

The ICVS Orientation started off with a warm welcoming by Dr. Samer Khalil and IFA’s Business Development Officer, Mr. Yazan Rai.

Each of the candidates introduced themselves shortly as everyone got to know each other.

After that, Dr. Samer Khalil discussed the benefits of the certificate, the awarding body & the syllabus.

At the end of the session, the interested candidates, Dr. Samer Khalil & IFA’s staff had a lovely chat over some light refreshments.
